Post what year cab to go with?

Ok I have a 87 f350 with a 6.9 the cab is done for and I'm looking put a new one on so my Q is what years do I have to chosse from I have a buddy with a 92 that he said if it fits I can take it so if some can give me some help that would be nice

1980- 1996 and 97 f250 only

The 92 cab will work just fine.

it will fit but you'll have to cut off some dash brackets and swap them too.

Lots of differences in the dash bracketry and the firewalls are different. Best '87-'91 but even some of those are different, all can be made to work.

i would go with the 92 cab, and see if you can get a cheap dash from a junk yard or something, i personally like the 92 cabs alot more than the older gen ones
