Default Looking to buy

Good afternoon everybody I’m looking at buying a 1994 F150 with the 5.0l equipped with the 5 speed manual transmission the one I’m currently looking at getting has 168k on it and the down part about it is it has a salvaged title which to me isn’t a big as long as the frame wasn’t damaged at all which the owner says there is no damage to it and he has all the paper of the repair to the front end where it was damaged
Other then that the outside of the truck looks amazing for the year I haven’t seen pictures of the interior yet he’s asking 3700 for it. Wound 3700 be to much and if so what would you pay thanks in advance Matt

For a salvaged title, I wouldn't give more than maybe $1000, and that would be a lot. The problem I can think of is insurance. I assume you plan on licensing and driving it, right? I'm not sure how it works with a salvaged title, but I've been told it is very hard to insure. Again, I have had no experience with it at all, so I don't know. I am assuming that it was totaled and the owner bought it back and repaired it. I just think $3700 is more than the truck is worth with a regular title, let alone a salvaged one. It would be a pass for me.

If that truck isn't a 4X4 it's not worth more than $500, tops

Too high. Check with your insurance agent about the salvage title - laws vary by state, and yours isn't in your profile.

I think they are just turned slightly....
There is no way I would give $3700 for that truck. 4X2 standard cab, long bed, salvage title, $750.
I inherited my 95 club cab, short bed, 4X2 from my Grandpa, there is no amount of money that could replace it to me, but if I were going to sell it, I would have to be realistic, and it has a clean title.

Toe going out when reversing seems rather common on these trucks, usually straightens out when pulling ahead again, other than that i think it's just the angle and the wheels being turned.
