Default Looking for a 95' Flareside tailgate

Does anyoneknow were I can purchase a tailgate for my 1995 Flareside. I tried looking in the LMC catalog and it does not go up to my year on the taligate.

I purchased the truck last August and it has a bad dent in the tailgate. It is bad enough to affect the opening mechanism. I straightened it out a little to get the tailgate to open but it still looks rough in that area. I could repair it but really just wanted to replace it. I have enough projects lined up for this truck as it is.

'88-'96 Flareside will fit, but good luck finding one. Just get a skin and fix yours.

hate to burst yalls bubbles, but flaresides were only made in 87 for the 8th gen, and i dont know if its the same. anything from a 92-96 flareside will work though. there is one on my local wrecking yards website, but its says rough in the description so i doubt its worth me looking at

I don't know when they actually started making the flareside again, but one could be swapped onto the older trucks. '87 had the old style bed, all steel with steel fenders. The newer style has fiberglass sides.
