Default Long Tubes

Ok so im currently in the process of redoing my entire exhaust system. Who ever did the exhaust before me had long tubes put in, and I want to put new ones. I can see where they notched the frame to fit them, so I dont think I need to worry about fitment issues. My my question is about what brand to go with, here is the two im looking at. Any thoughts/or experiences with these, or can anybody offer a better suggestion to some long tubes?

I like the dynomax ones because they are coated. What do you guys think?

Well with the 5.0 you should go with the dynomax 2 1/2...If your re-doing the exhaust you may want to consider 2 1/4 look at this thread https://www.f150forum.com/f10/2-1-2-3-a-80286/ some guys are running 2 1/4 and are happy with what they're performance

Go dynomax for the extra few $

On a side note.....would you take a pic of the way they ran the pipes on your truck and the notch they cut?

best - hooker, better - headman, ok - flowtech, dynomax, hooker and headman use a little thicker tube.

I just bought some headmen LT's myself... they have 3" collectors and was planning on just doing a 3" y-pipe and a cat/muffler setup with a 90 bend behind the passenger tire. I'm guessing the single will sound different, but will I be losing any "noticeable" power going that direction?
