Ford... For Off Road Driving
Ford spelled backwards... Driver Returns On Foot
Dodge... Disastrous Old Derelict Garage Experiment
Mopar... Mostly Old Parts And Rust / Most Original Parts Already Replaced
Can't think of any GM ones at the moment.

Really though, I love Fords. They have their junk models, just like every other company does, but their trucks can't be beat.

If there was no Ford, I'd drive a Chevy. No Chevy I'd push a Dodge around (you know, since it needs a new transmission already).

I wouldn't even bother pushing an import riceburner truck... maybe roll it down a hill into a pit but that's about it.

I always find it interesting that Chevy guys always compare themselves to the smaller Ford. In cars its always the 350 against the 302. Did they forget most if the chevys had 305 engines that usually didn't compete with the 302. And they also forget about the 351. Today Chevy compared its 1500 6.3 (not sure if I got the size right) to the 3L ford ecoboost in their latest commercial. Come on now really? A few years ago they ran a commercial claiming that the 2500 out hauls the Ford F150. Well good job too bad the F250 that year out pulled the 3500. Notice current Ford commercials don't even mention dodge or Chevy. They talk about Mercedes and BMW. Oh yeah and Chevy is coming out with a truck to compete with the Raptor. Too bad Ford already redesigned the F150 platform but I guess they can look forward to outperforming a 10 year old truck.

You wanna go fast?

Build a Mustang...Fox body Stangs are almost free. lol

A decent Lightning is going to cost you more than a few grand and it will MOST DEFINITELY need a few grand put in it as soon as you put your name on it. (They always do, don't they?) You could throw a few grand at your 351 but don't forget the trans if you get really greedy about HP.

Power is costly. No matter what vehicle you want it in. You can slap a power adder on anything but will it hold up to it and for how long is the real question.

I would probably just cough up for a Lightning in the best condition I could find rather than throw a bunch of cash at my old work truck..

just my opinion...

My girlfriends neighbor has a 95 chevy with a 350 in it and he wants to race against my 89 f-150 with the 302 in it, stating the above point exactly. So ill probably race him when I am back from college again, and not to sound cocky but I am very confident I can beat him
