Default Lifts?

I got a 1989 f-150 4.9l. Well I know it sounds weird but I want to lift my 2wd up about 2 inches. I have 31 inch tires on the back and getting ready to put 31s in the front also. But I want the tire size to be seen more and look better. Anyway I know how to raise the rear but how should I go about raising the front. Can I get a spring bushing easily at a parts store. And if I raise the front and the back 2 inches well the stock shocks work..... And if not how much lift could i get away with with out buying new shocks......I will buy new shocks but not right now if I can help it.....Thanks..... Ps....this is how i see it with rasing a 2wd. If it was 4wd I wouldnt take it any where off-road anyways especially anywhere it wouldnt go in 2wd.
