Anybody ever get the chance to swap out the lifter galley gasket on a 89 I6 its a real treat!

The bolts that hold the cover to the block kept spinning in the gasket and not releasing. When i tried to remove the coil from the block the wires are so brittle they broke and everything was covered in oil. But overall its not a hard job you just have to move some things out of your way.

 

Well it's annoying to fix something when you're not getting paid anyways.

 

Yea, i figured there were alot of people that have had to replace that gasket.
