All I'm saying is there are so many suspension variations that saying any block bigger then 4" needs a taper is incorrect.
So you need a 4 inch block for superduty leafs to make 6"? What's the benefit of using superduty leafs over half ton leafs?

Yes the superduty leafs I used are from an 03 f250. But if you used f350 superduty leafs then a 2" block combined with the leaf pack would provide 6" of rear lift over the stock 1/2 ton springs.
As for the benefit...load carrying capability,no axle wrap, better quality leaf springs and better spring bushings.

Let's see your 1/2 ton leafs do this...skid steer and trailer are well over 10,000 pounds.

Bit that's properly loaded. Will it be a rougher ride? Mine floats all over the road and it has brand new shocks so I'm thinking maybe leafs will help. Also you barely touch the gas and the rear end squats real bad. Not like normal like pullin stumps squating.

It's rougher at slow speeds and actually smoother at speeds over 15 mph.

Honestly the stock leafs in the rear of 92-96 f150s are junk!
I have had a 92,95 and my current 93 and every one of them I broke a leaf in the passenger side leaf pack.

These leafs are the best set I have run in these trucks and I have tried the 92-97 f250 leafs in them and they're not near as good.

Do you have the Measurements on that block you built? Did you use used springs or new?

Oh and the block is the same length as the factory block and 4" tall.
