just get a rough country lift kit. check em out on their site! maybe you can call em and get them to take out the rear blocks and drop the price a little.

I'm trying to steer away from rough country. I've heard many complaints about how cheaply made the parts are

I've had a rough country for years now and the only complaint I have is the crappy coating job on them. Otherwise I've had no problems. But I don't go wheeling either. It's a mountain driver.

Do you really need the drop brackets and all? I've been told yes and no

Gotta have the drop brackets...unless you go with the longer radius arms you won't need the radius drops. But still need the ttb drops.
