Default lift and gears ???????

ok i have a 88 f150 and im doing a sas and after all my brackets and everything ill aprox. have 15 inchs of lift in the front and 12 in the rear and was wondering if ne one has that much and wat tire size they run and gears and ne suggestion and help wud be much appreciated thank you

15" of lift? Seriously? That should clear 44s. Maybe bigger. But I would really look at what axles you have, before just throwing 44" tires on there.

And you can't really pick what gears would be best, without pickin' tires first. But I'd venture that you'll be runnin' somethin' in the neighborhood of 5.13s or 5.29s.

get some 2 and a half tons with some 6.72s and some 44+ tires

its a dana 44 and im thinkin bout either a 44 pitbull rocker or f i do 40's a ltb swamper

Not tryin' to sound like an ***, but good luck not snapping axle shafts like toothpicks with tires that big on a half-ton axle. I wouldn't run anything over a 38, and even that's pushing it. And for 38s you have WAY more than enough lift.

x2. unless its gonna be a street queen and you never hit the gas very hard its gonna break. a guy with the 9.75 rear axle which is one of the strongest half ton axles if not the strongest had a 4.2 on 40s and he would snap axleshafts
