Leather Steering Wheel
I used a replacement cover from a company called wheelskins. You can buy their stuff from a few retailers or their site www.wheelskins.com.
Mine turned out great but I had to redo it because the original cover seams are not the same as the replacement cover. Ford uses 2 seams on their cover (at the 5 and 7 o'clock positions) the replacement has only one (or at least my 95 F150 XLT did). To make the seams less "lumpy" Ford cuts out a recess in the wheel, this leaves a weird feeling recess when the new cover doesn't have extra leather from the seam to fill in those voids. For a smooth wheel with the cover on you'd need to fill in the void that Ford cut into the wheel. I used little 1/8" wide strips of leather to fill them in. BTW, when I decided to redo my intallation, Wheelskins sent me new stitching thread with no questions asked for free.
