Default leaf spring help

I have a 94 f150 4x4 off with off road package. My rear springs are 3" wide, 3 spring and the helper. Just picked up a set that have 4 leafs and the helper but are 2 1/2" wide. will this be ok and will it drastically change the ride? Thanks for any info guys.

I'm changing out the brackets due to rust. The new ones are for 2 1/2" and they also came with the shackles. I am more concerned about the ride and payload. Just don't know how to figure that.

yes your payload will be less, might ride a bit better, its going to give the truck the cali lean look, nose to the sky.

Just got done doing research at a really good site, SDTruckSprings.com. They give you all of the dimensions and it shows that the dims. are the same with the exception of the arch and that is only 3/8" different than mine. The payload is 45 lbs. lighter than mine too. Looks like I,m give these a shot and see what happens!
