Default '93 F150 Xlt

Hello Folks,

As ya'll can see, i am new to this forum. I just purchased a beautiful '93 F150 XLT and i'm waiting for it to be delivered this afternoon. The truck is in (dare i say?) "perfect" condition, inside and out. 88K original miles, never any problems or wrecks and still 100% original, with the exception of the stereo receiver, bed liner and tool box. It's a one owner vehicle that's been garage kept and professionally maintenanced since day one. I paid a whopping $6,537,12 (including tax and all other costs) for this beauty. Here's some pictures for you guys!

I will be removing the bedliner and the Delta tool box. Besides that, i dont think there's much else i'd like to do besides leveling it and giving it a more powerful sound. I've been thinking about a small lift and a bigger set of wheels, but i'm not sure if i'd like it since it's not a 4WD. I have a few questions to ask you guys and hopefully i can get some helpful answers.

- Which brand leveling kit should i go for? All i want to do is level it, not lift it.
- Eventually, i'll be putting bigger speakers in the cab. No subwoofer, just a set of big & bad component speakers. Besides the doors, where and how would i place them?
- How do i find out which transmission is in this truck?
- What exhaust kit or modifications would i need to give this truck a raw, low V8 growl? I dont want it "loud", i want it low and heavy. Here's a link to a clip on Youtube.Com, that's the kind of sound i want my truck to make. Click here

That's all for now, thanks in advance!

-Wess

That is a really nice truck. Really nice.
I've got 2 10 inch and 2 6 inch speakers in boxes behind the seat. Although the 6 inchers don't sound the greatest back there, they do add to the loudness. The 10s don't matter, they bump great back there.
