I've got a delimma
and I don't know which way to go..
I have 2 F150's, 2 is a 4x2 the other is a 4x4
would it be easier to take my 4x2

and my 4x4

both trucks run really good, but as you can see my 4x4 is full of rust..
I'd like to make my 2 tone a 4x4 so basically swapping the whole body..
so would it be easier to swap the body, or to add the 4x4 parts to the 2 tone. (tan/brown)
I'm very mixed up, I don't want to kill on truck to make a nice one,
any help would be gladly welcomed..

Well seeing as the 2 trucks have different wheel bases then your best bet is to swap the front differential and suspension into the 2wd along with the transmission and transfercase.
All bolt in and an easy swap if your at all mechanically inclined.
Make sure the differentials match gear ratios, if not swap the rear diff into the nicer bodied truck as well. .

Pull the front end from the 4x4, clean and refurbish it and the same with the tranny and transfer case, google bw1350 oil pump fix, and do that while the transfer case is out. Take the transmision crosmember and clean it up too, you ll need the 4x4 one, find a short box driveshaft, oh and the bolt in part of the floor that covers the trans.
If your 2wd need shocks, or spring hangers get the stuff for the 4x4. Once you have everything cleaned up, you can swap the 4x4 front end in in a weekend, it bolts right in, do the rear and springs the next weekend, and swap the trans, I d wait for a holiday weekend for that. Then cut up the carcass of the 4x4 , and haul it to the scrapyard for beer money, including a six pack of old mil, to mail to hillbilly hill Canada, for all my good advice. There is a great thread here on this, Ill have to look.
