Default Intermittent wiper control

Hey folks. My intermittent wiper on the turn signal works when you push it in for fluid and works when its on FULL but I seem to have lost all the first few, slower settings.
Do I replace? Take apart?
Help?
Newbie, try not to use too many technical terms- I am still learning.

You can make a signature in the user control panel.

Your multi-function switch is most likely failing, or has very dirty contacts.

It was like $70 from Napa. I will try and clean it first. There is a list of steps online here. Does this seem like a good thing to try rather than drop the $70 right off the bat?
And, why does he use all the towels? Just being overly cautious to not get brake cleaner everywhere?

Yeah cleaning is always cheaper - and if it doesn't work, learn to love rockauto:

Sometimes you can cross reference the numbers elsewhere for faster shipping.

RockAuto looks like I might cause me to have a spending problem.

Yeah it is kind like shopping at Costco - I may save $100 but I still ended up spending $500 every time

That was a cool writeup.

The intermittent feature all but failed on the 93 I had. I pretty much exclusively used intermittent instead of 'on', I figured some part of the switch failed from being on/off soooo many times (on being when it wipes then shuts off).
I bet this would have been a solution so many years ago. The internet wasn't as resourceful at the time I had problems.
