Hey fellas, derrick here.
New to the forum and I was hoping for some creative ideas. Ive picked up an 89' F150 Lariat in amazing shape for next to nothing! Truly a "little old lady on Sundays" story with this great truck!! Anyway, Im going to put some work in her (the truck, not the old lady), and my neighbor just happened to have the exact upper intake manifold, well all the pieces my truck has with a 5.0L. He gave them to me, and Im thinking how great this is to have a piece of the engine right here on my work bench! So what I want to know is, what would some of you do with it? Im thinking alittle port and polish work, maybe some stainless lines with anodized fittings, nitrous(?!), who knows right?!
So hit me with some ideas for a direction!

Why would you say that? I see potential in this piece, I cant expect to everyone to have such a clear imagination as I do, obviously stated with the above answer. The worst thing you can do, is tell some "NO" and give no reason.

Get a Chevy intake and bolt both to a board. Under the the Ford one paint this is your brain. Under the Chevy one paint this is your brains on drugs. Underneath that paint any questions?

Seriously though I have always wanted to powder coat one. Powder coat it Ford blue lol.
