Default instruments wont illuminate

I have a 1991 Ford F150 and the instruments wont illuminate and i was wondering where to start looking for the problem...but the fuse is no blown

Wiggle the headlight switch **** as you turn it to see if it's the reostat in the switch.

I tried wiggling it but nothing happened so i probably have a wiring problem that i need to find

That circuit gets power from the parking light side of the headlight switch. The headlight switch is a common problem with these trucks, and the plug into it has a nasty habit of melting too.

Check for power in and then check for power out with the switch on.

got the thing fix and it works now...wat really happen was the radio i put in a while back got a wiring diagram that didnt have the exact same colors so i was grounding a power source out on the istruments so thats wat was causing it...i still needed a new switch though the wire spring going around the wheel that dimms it was gone causeing it to not turn on
