Default instrument panel lights

1989 f150 5 speed instrument panel has a tach

One of my instrument panel bulbs went out on the cluster. How difficult is it to pull the cluster out?

While i was at it i was just going to replace all of the bulbs with 194/168 5-SMD leds (i've read these are the brightest with most coverage).

I'm going to do the bulbs in the hvac controls too. Are they the same type of bulb?

Anyone here ever convert their orginal bulbs to LEDs? (pics please ).

Any help or pics are appreciated

I pulled mine once or twice.

I don't know what happened.

It's not a big deal. The hardest thing pretty much is pressing the release button for the headlight **** and unhooking the speedometer cable. There's a lever type thing on the cable end that you press to unhook it if I remember correctly.
