Default Ignition quirk...

Sometimes, when I turn the key to start the truck, nothing happens. I turn it back to the off position, then back on, and it fires right up. This is an infrequent issue, and has never failed to fire on the second try. I don't know if I'm just not turning the key fully sometimes or if something is trying to go bad.
Anyone else experience anything like this?

It could be the ignition switch, or the rod that attaches it to the lock cylinder.
