Default Idles high in park

I have a 92 V8 5.8 2w drive. My engine idles high in park and it doesn't

slow down. When I put it in gear in drops down. I tried replacing the idler

air valve sensor and that didn't work. My vacuum hoses seem to be

secured. I can't think of anything else. Any suggestions? Thx.

Check the computer for codes. Check the throttle, make sure it isn't stuck open a little. Check the throttle cable, make sure it isn't siezing. Possible bad neutral safety switch, it sends a signal to the computer which affects idle.
