If it does die at idle try cleaning the throttle body with some good cleaner it did the trick for me when mine would die every time i would let off the gas.

It died once I'm traffic but it starts right up. It just gets really shacky. Do you think that would cause the engine to have trouble starting some times? Its alittle rough lol

is it auto or manual? if its manual you could have just stalled it ither way get some seafoam and do the full treatment on the rig ans see if it just needs a good clean out

had to ask lol but try some seafoam and check all the vacuum lines for a crack that can cause high idle.

Check for codes to see if you're having a sensor issue. It could be a multitude of things and checking codes can be a big help in narrowing it down.

Probably your IAC (IAB). But remove it, clean it, reinstall, then test function as per link instructions before buying a replacement. The IAC does not produce a code if bad.
See Link:
http://www.fordfuelinjection.com/?p=39

I don't know what a new IAC goes for, but they are $5 for a used one at the bone yard.

Also run error code scans to determine if there is a problem w/ any sensor(s).

You don't care to share any info about the truck so I will just mention that warm idle for a 302 A/T is 650-675 RPM.

DO NOT ALTER YOUR THROTTLE STOP ADJUSTMENT FROM FACTORY SET!!!
