Default I6 Head

Evening Everyone,

So Excited i figured i would share the news!
Once Prom goes by (may 17th) and i pay off the money i used to pay for the ungodly expensive dance. i will be Sending out The Head from my old engine block. My buddy told me he knows a guy that will Shave a set of heads for $75 , i figure if i can get him to shave the head down. find some sort of after market Valves ect ect then i should get a lil more horse out of my I6. Now i know she wont be faster but im thinking that extra HP will spin the tires easyer and give her that lil more oomfff she needs when in truck pulls.
Depending on how much money i have to play with i was thinking of sending out the Block i have as well. A built 300 I6, hmmm sounds like something new to play with. i mean come on how often do you hear of people doing it?
Well anyways Suggestions on How much i should have the Head Shaved, what new parts i might want to look into and what i will need for sure would be great!
-Way

Good for you! there is a bunch of untapped potential in the 300 I6. Go here for some good info as well as a great Forum devoted to the Ford I6.
