Well Im stumped. They should just slide right in without any problem. Hopefully someone who has used the kit will chime in here. Im not sure whats all involved with doing that since I havent done it. Wish I could help, just cant think of what it is. Something simple Im sure. Lots of us have used Warn hubs, so they should work ok.

Are warns interchangeable from truck to to truck or are there different ones for different trucks?

They're set for axles if im not mistaken, dana44s all use the same warns, etc.

I've been considering getting manual hubs. Any convincing input?

The warns and mile markers should fit all trucks from 80-96 with the dana44, dana44hd, and Dana60 axles. With exceptions to 87-88 model years.

(going off of memory there).

The only thing I can think of is you put something else in that doesn't belong. When you took the rotors off you should have thrown away EVERYTHING except the bearings(shoulda got new bearings while you were at it).

When I bought my truck the previous owner had converted it over I noticed that the hubs were loose I took it apart and found they had left the wire retaining ring out I went to the pick an pull and got two I couldn't get them in I found that in behind the hub there was a 1/4" thick splined I took that out everything went back without a problem

I threw everything but the bearings away. The still seemed to be in good shape. Truck only has 100,000 on it. Got to work this morning and everything slid right in the way it was suppossed to. I guess i got frustrated last night.
