Thanks, i made a list of parts im going to look for at junk yard today: EGR valve and line, coolant sensor, canister purge valve. and some other stuff. after a little research it looks like the previous owner disabled the smog pump and ran str8 pipes.

Umm is the EGR Valve missing a line? Is their a place to hook up the missing VAC? Should be pretty obvious.

Lol nothing is what it seems! Apparently that thing that's hangin in the back of the motor broke off. There is a lot of build up in the egr port on throttle body and a ton of build up everywhere else.

The struggle continues...

If it is still there you will find a decal in the engine compartment usually up front in the cross member the Radiator is attached to which illustrates the vacuum lines.
if it is missing you can get a replacement here:

In the meantime I would suggest a subscription to All Data DIY This is a vehicle and year specific online manual for your truck. http://www.alldatadiy.com/ I have one for my truck and it is very handy.

Still no luck, so question, If i have a vacuum leak wouldn't the truck run rough in park too? I only have issues when the car is under load in drive and reverse.

not always, sometimes they'll just idle a little high. you might look on the underside of the hood for a diagram of your vac lines. thats where mine is.

I searched high and low for the diagram, but it is missing, I am going to put a vid up of the vacuum lines an see if someone can shout if something's out of place.

I took the two black coffee cans out and am going to test them to see if they are holding vacuum, after that I'm going to check the torque converter clutch circuit
