I have a 1987 F250 with a busted hood release. I am guessing the cable is broken cuz when I pull the handle in the cab it (the handle) moves very easily.

Does anyone know how I can open the hood in light of this situation?

 

Good luck with that one. Just checked mine to see how difficult it will be for you. Your best bet will be to try from underneath the truck.
