92 f-150 4x4 302 high idle tranny doesnt know when to shift changed plugs did seafoan need help pleade

 

check your throttle position sensor i had the same problem.

 

Lmk if the TPS works. I'm having same issues on my 92 f150 5.8

 

Things you gotta do:

1) TB

2) IAC

3) TPS

Clean 1 & 2, REPLACE 3

Good to go.

 

^^^^^ What this guy said. Get a multimeter and a Haynes manual to test out the sensors first.

 

Thank u all got idle down by cleaning iac thank u so much I feel like an idiot but the reason not shifting some how got in 4 wheel low kiddies must have done it but now im ready to tear something else up HERE WE GO PAWL PAWL!!!!!
