Running about 2K for idle, doing some exhaust work on it and had to run it without cats for a day seemed to be running fine till the next day and it started idling at 2k, it usually has a higher idle at first then drops down but it just goes up to 2 grand. Thinking it could be the 02 sensor, just looking for some other opinions, the trucks an 89 F150 with a 302.

 

I would check all the vacuum lines...you may have cracked one or one may have slipped off while you were in the engine bay.i had this happen to me just recently...i took off my map sensor vacuum line to install full lenght headers and forgot to reinstall...drove me crazy for days.JUST A THOUGHT!
