Default Hey all

Hey, I know this isn't the introduction section, but I'd like to get your opinions on some things about my truck so I just decided I'd say hello and ask your opinion at the same time lol. Well my names Jesse, and I've been stopping by on this forum for a while lately so I decided to sign up and actually be a little active I just got my first truck, a '93 Ford F150 XL (Soon to be XLT, I'm looking into finding the power window motors and auto locks and such) with a 300 inline 6. I liked this truck so much because my dad owned a '93 with the same specs (only his was 4x4) and I'd like to restore it. It's a little bit beat up, because we bought it off of a guy who... well he used it as his hunting truck :/ He basically painted the ENTIRE truck camo.... and didn't do a very good job either. But, the engine purred like a kitten, and started up on the first turn, so for $800 I wasn't about to pass this baby up. But I wanted to ask what do you guys think I should do to this truck? I've had a lot off different ideas but I really can't decide what I'd like to do Now if I did this right, some pictures of the truck should be attached to this thread, so far me and my dad have sanded and primed the bed of the truck and we're moving on to the cab.

Replace the headlights, first off .

What are your intentions for the truck (stock but restored, off-roader, beater)?

Yeah lol, we got the headlights replaced with some stock ones at the junkyard, but I might get some brand new ones when I can. And I'd like to basically make it a nicer truck that just... all-purpose I guess you could say. I want something that I could go and chop firewood and throw it in the bed, something that I could tow a light trailer or a boat with, and something that'd be a smooth ride to basically just sit and enjoy while driving... and then go off road and climb huge hills and stuff

Alright thanks man, yeah I decided that I'm just going with the original color of the truck so that way the door jams and all that stuff matches, a dark green, my favorite color is green anyway, so I lucked out lol. And yeah I was thinking about putting just a small lift in, maybe 2 or 3 inches, and the winch most definitely. I have my eye on a bull bar from Westin that I like pretty well also, you can check it out if you'd like-

And thanks man, but just not really my style. A lot of people have actually said they liked it, I don't know what it is lol, but it's a love it or hate it truck, it's either "amazing" or "the ugliest thing I've ever seen" lol.

not bad on the bar but i would get the 1/4 steal bumper ha but then again i like extream but that will look perfect 2 lights and a winch should be good an lift 2 inchs eh i guess but then you might as well just lift the boddy 2 inches its about 800 cheeper i would lift the suspention 6 and get 33s or 35s tires now depending where you live then i understand see i live in jerssy and if the bottom of the door is higher than 4 inchs stock i get fined and inpounded but theres a tilt test where the give you a basic inspection and then test the truck for percentiage of rolling over and if you pass you get a second sticker clasifying it as a High Rise Vehical etc well good luck with it and rember have fun with it

Hey thanks man. Yeah I live in Florida and their really aren't many restrictions on vehicles, it's really about the way it looks lol. I like small lifts, not necessarily a fan of huge lifts so that's why I said 2 inches lol. And yeah I'd like to get a winch to put on it, it'd be a cool little toy to have
