Default Help Won't start

Replaced the intake gasket on my 92 302. Had to remove distributor due to broken in the head Marked both it and the cap. Put it back together now it won't start Seems to be timing issue. Any ideas? Greatly appreciate the help. Anything else I might have missed. Thought maybe someone else had a similar problem.
Thanks

When you pull the distributor you should use a white paint pen and mark a line on the engine block going up the distributor to make sure it is in the right spot . Next take the cap off and make a mark on the distributor body as to where the rotor is pointing . If you didn't mark both of these it is possible to get out of time . If you think it may be out of time follow this . Dissconnect the battery . Remove the valve cover on no.1 cylinder bank . Remove the spark plug for no.1 cylinder .Roll the engine over by hand using a breaker bar and socket on the bolt on the front of the crankshaft . Watch the rocker arms and after the intake valve closes it will be coming up on compression . Have a helping hand and use a long thin screwdriver through the spark plug hole to carefully feel when no.1 is at top . Put your distributor body back into the block in its original direction with the rotor pointing towards no.1 on your cap. You will now be set at no.1 TDC . Put the valve cover back on , hook up the battery and connect a timing light . Start the engine and correctly set the timing .
