I took a stab at replacing my trans mount today - My plan was put a jack under the trans to hold it up and unbolt / remove the crossmember to get to the 2 bolts that hold the trans mount to the trans... Am I going about this correctly? It looks like it would be more of a pain to try to get a wrench on the 2 bolts without removing the cross.... It got dark/cold out so I'm going ot tackle it again in the morning. 89 F150 4spd 302. Thanks!
