Default Help a noob out...

So I new to this forum, new to welding, new to body work and recently got my first truck, I thought I'd try my hand at body work so I've been fixing rust spots, I successfully and to my shock welded in two new pieces of sheet metal, one on the bed, one on the cab right behind the door, now I'm trying to fix the wheel wells, it doesn't help that the old owner caked in about 3" thick of bondo in there. I thought this would be easy, just cut out the rust section, weld in a new piece, bondo, paint and done, but...the (I guess called the inner wheel well) is rusted out too, I have no idea how to fix this, I'm guessing it's just butt welded to the wheel humps in the bed but I can't see where, also I've googled like crazy and can't find a replacement part, is this something I'll have to make? I could probably cut about 4" off the well and weld in more sheet then weld on the fender sheet but Id rather replace the inner well, if someone has done this (which I'm sure you have..it's a ford, they rust) could chime in with what to do, I'd love to hear it. Thanks..Ethan.
