Default Help me please!!!!

The other night my truck would not start... usuelly the neg. cable comes loose, you wiggle it and it will start up. But this time it was not acting normal. so we jumped the truck with a screw driver on the selanoid by touching the driver to the two points. it started up. So my dad thought it was the selanoid, we replaced it, nothing. yes it was reconnected right for what we know. So I told my dad the key was acting weird and not doing anything so we replaced the key lock cylinder. Nothing...! we need help trying to figure this out please. The latest news update is that it may be the clutch actuator rod True False or Possibilities!?????

If the key was acting weird then did you check the ignition switch? Not the lock cylinder, the electrical ignition switch.

It's towards the bottom of the steering column, the key moves it with a long rod.
