Default Help ID'ing Engine Parts?

Hi, Guys. I picked up this 1995 Ford F150XL 4.9L V6 manual transmission with AC a couple of months ago. Had 172,000 miles and was in need of a major tuneup. Had a local mechanic do the tuneup since I'm not very mechanically inclined at all. Since owning the pickup and watching dozens and dozens of YouTube videos, I've learned that I could have probably done most, if not all, the tuneup myself.

I've been trying to educate myself to keep up the maintenance and be ready to replace or repair various parts that go out as I plan on keeping this pickup for many years to come if possible. First thing I need to do now is replace the radiator as I believe it's leaking some as evidenced by fresh fluid directly underneath it. It needs replacing anyway since about 1/3rd of the fins are crushed over and even a fin-straightening comb didn't work :-)

I'd like to ask help from you guys in identifying the various parts of this engine and make any recommendations if anything pops out at you. I guess one of the main concerns is some of the hoses look really cracked and brittle - but not sure if they're actually hoses or insulation to a hose.

Here's a link of photos I uploaded today and pointed at various parts with my orange handle pointer thingy. The parts that I don't know what they are will be numbered 1, 2, 3, etc. If someone would take a look and reply back with 1=vacuum tuberator, 2=riticulated actuator, 3=self lubricating thimgamabob it would be much, much appreciated so I can research these parts, find out what they do, and know how they tie in to the engine overall.

I'm sure some people will roll their eyes, but I've never learned about vehicles before and I'd really like to maintain this old pickup as I really like it and want to keep it but can't afford to keep pay $75per hour in labor and hoping it's getting done right.

OK, I'll start with a few : 1 is the air pump filter/muffler. 2 is the fuel pressure regulator. 4 is the cruise control. 6 is the wiper motor. 7 is the vacuum reservoir. 12 is the heater motor. 15 is the idle air control. 16 I think is the throttle position sensor. 17 is the charcoal canister.
That should keep you busy for a little while looking up what they're all there for.

You shouldn't have any trouble changing a rad - good time to think about rad hoses as well.
