Default Help identifying part

So I bought this truck for the farm and as I'm combing threw trying to find the oil leak I find this hose that's not connected to anything. Can someone point me in the right direction, is this part of the reason I keep losing oil pressure?

Heres the broken off end

Heres the other end of the hose

https://www.f150forum.com/f10/1995-f...m-help-390288/ That's the tubing that carries air from your air pump to your exhaust system.

Oil pressure gauges on this era of truck, are activated by an "on/off" type of pressure switch, not an actual variable sensor that shows a range of different pressures. Are you really losing oil pressure or is the gauge not reading accurately?

I think it's reading accurately due to the fact the oil is taking hours to settle back down into the oil pan for me to get a accurate reading with the dipstick and also when I noticed it the motor sounded a little off( I wad even coasting downhill in neutral)

If it's taking hours to get an accurate reading, it sounds that you have clogged journals or something. The pressure might be fluctuating because oil is not getting back to the pan fast enough.
