Default Help identifying part

So I bought this truck for the farm and as I'm combing threw trying to find the oil leak I find this hose that's not connected to anything

Heres the broken off end

Heres the other end of the hose

It should connect to the exhaust either right before, or at the catalytic converter. I bet you have a nasty exhaust leak.

Haha nope I guess the it was plugged before I got my hands on it

Does the truck still have catalytic converters?

It's part of the smog pump system. So it's probably not working properly. If you don't need an inspection, I wouldn't worry about it.
