Default Help get me started

So I figure being this part of the forums are for the 87-96 years best place to go for ideas/help on where to start on my 1993 f150 XL.

Basics are it is a I6 with a 4speed with overdrive behind it RWD 2door with a long bed and 2 gas tanks. (kinda a blank canvas in my opinion) Looking for ideas of where to start on mods, going to a 4X4 is not in the cards for this truck so offroading is not a huge concern. I will be putting the Lightning front fascia on in the next couple months.

I guess what I am looking for is what would you guys do in my shoes on a limited budget to get the most umph for your money (I will need a new exhaust soon I can almost put my hand through some of the holes in the tailpipe)

Start with the basics if you haven't already, plugs, wires, cap and rotor, drop in K&N air filter, fuel filter, oil, trans, differential oil. After all that you should see some performance. I've done all these and noticed a difference.

Welcome to the forums, it's a wealth of knowledge on our generation of truck in here.

Try a quick search on here for cheap mods, there is a thread that posts mods that people have done for under $100
