Help cold startup
92 4.9 inline six won't start till 20 or so trys after overnight sit. Fuel press. good ,fire good .Is there a cold start in ecm or a sensor to open injecter .Use starting fluid fires right up.

You need to do a fuel pressure static test. This is a test to see how fast the pressure drops after the fuel pump has shut off. If it drops quickly there may be a problem with the fuel pump, regulator or a blockage in a line.

Scaned codes got a couple that do not pretain to problem cleared codes tried to crank and wah-la it started right up.So i decided to check the timing since it has never been checked in 16 years. and going buy the only mark i could find on balancer.I put the light on it and it showed up on the bottom of the engine say about 6 oclock( and yes i did unhook the computer time wire)
