is your truck manual or automatic, cause i have a 89 f150 automatic, i have a flowmaster super 44 with a 3 inch inlet and 2- 2.5 inch outs and if i shift down to 3 or d i can hear it pop a little bit, but if you have a manual you have more control over your engine than the automatic, if you have a glass pack and that isnt loud enough, the only thing i can say that would be better would be straight pipes, and i know it will pop

i have an automatic. and ive thought about the 44s but ive never heard the same truck with them. and my current set up is single pipe, stock cat, single glasspack and dualed out the back. ive thought about straights but i would much rather gain power than loose it
