So my instructions say this to program my remote:

Momentarily jump pins in programming connector located at the base of the steering*column. All doors will lock then unlock to confirm programming mode.

Ummm no clue at all.

What instructions for what? Need some more information. What are you trying to do here? I assume it is keyless entry but what kind? Model number?

Try this site http://the12volt.com Great source of information on a lot of electrical devices.

I broke the factory keyless remote. I ordered a new one online and I am trying to sync it with the oem keyless entry system in my truck. I just need to figure out what "pins" need to be jumped n order for the elctrical system to be in programming mode, to sync the new remote.

usually it's just on off on off on off and then hold the button for a bit of time. or something to that effect. I know you can find those instructions online.

That is correct, it works for 96 and above. Do you have an owners manual? According to what I can find it should tell you how to do this. Others have taken their trucks in and Ford techs have done this for them for nothing.

I looked in my manual and it doesnt say anything. I doubt the techs around here would do it.

There should be a connector at the base of your steering wheel. I believe it is two wires and a single connector. Take a paper clip and jump the wires. The door locks should cycle.

Should not have to, let me see if I can find a pic of it for you. I take that back you may have to remove the bottom piece right under the steering wheel.
