I can't get the darn steering wheel off....was trying to avoid a puller...but I'm pretty sure I need it off to get where I need to. I can see the plastic piece and it appears the rod that connects to it may have come out...

Was trying to get more space to get at the little rod thing that attaches between the key cylinder and something else. Didn't help much. I just on bolted the module from the steering column and operate it by hand.

But....I can't figure out how to get the power to turn off.... its like when you turn the key back so you can listen to the radio or roll the windows up or down real quick. It doesn't turn the gauges on or anything. Just let's me use the radio and windows.

So. The only problem I'm terribly concerned with right now is the "accessories" don't turn off.

well i would say pull the battery then put it back in and see if it stays off but if there's current running thru it might kill you doing that. you can pull all the fuses?

I've unhooked the battery for now. Just need to figure out why the accessories don't turn off otherwise.... I don't think pulling the fuses will help. It might turn those few things off but its still basically gonna be "on"
