Default heated windshield wipers?

when i bought my F150 i noticed some wires going to the passenger side wiper and the guy told me that it was supposed to be for heated wipers which i have never heard of but the wires aren't hooked up to anything under the hood so it doesn't work don't know if it ever did but maybe i could modify it and get it to work. haven't really looked at it tho.

if it is a heated wipers there should be wires on the driverside aswell, but when i install them i usually find a 10 amp fuse in the fuse box but make sure its an ignition wire NOT a constant power wire, most customers wanted the power adapter setup which came in the package with the heated wiper system.

heated wipers are great if you keep the truck outside and your one of those crazy people that live in the northern states, where the ice on the windshield gets inches thick in the morning. You can break them free no problem when they are heated.

Well in that case, would make sense to have heated wipers.
