Hey everybody, with the heat wave in my neck of the woods im curious hows everybody keepin their trucks from overheating? any tips or tricks anyone knows?

I'm running in Florida and don't have any issues. Just make sure you have good coolant/water mixture, and it wouldn't hurt to flush the system. If it's still going hot after that, check the water pump and rad.

Oh and easy one, make sure you have a functional thermostat!

Fan clutch. Very overlooked part. I had the same issues until I replaced it. Everything else was new.

45 degrees in Alaska this morning Warmed up to the mid 60s this afternoon. No overheating issues here! My heater core still isn't fixed though... I'm gonna need that come fall. Stupid thing is MUCH harder to replace than "remove the glove compartment and seven bolts."

Also in Florida, running straight well water a/c cranked the whole time with no cooling issues.

HOLY COWW! thats pretty cool(pun intended)
good for me however im running the super cool package or whatever ford put in with a tranny cooler and a larger radiatior or however that works i havent run into any problems yet but havent driven too much i was just sorta curious as to whos doin what hopefully this heatwave dies down....
