I have that same problem, i painted my grille but never got a chance on the headlight housing, i think you have to take the battery out, and the windshields washer fluid container on both sides, unless you have skinny arms to reach in there

hi im new to the forum.

If you got skinny arms like me. You should be able to unscrew the two screws on the bezel above. Then stick your arm between the bezel and the header panel and remove the support that links the corner to the header panel. then the bezel should come off...with blinker nad corner intact. So you have your headlight area pretty open.

But i did have most stuff broken so i didnt haft to be gentle.

Unless you got skinny arms, or everything broken I don't think you can get to them without taking out some things.

im kinda interested in knowing the proper way of taking this stuff off. Because i gotta put it back together right.

I bought the truck with a swiveling headlight (mount broke). then i get hit while i was at the pump, and it pulled my bumper out. So i pulled it off and was fixing it. While it was off at 1 am i was doing 80 and i nailed a deer. It got impaled ont he frame rail. Smashed the whole drivers side area. Broke my radiator. bent a condensor (my ac still works great). So i held it on with a piece of my trailer light extnesions. THen while offroading i had to turn around. And i ws put in a sitution. Where i had to hit the tree. So it was pretty scrwed up.

Mangled filler panel, Destroyed header panel. Left and right headlights (mounts where broken off), one corner and one blinker..and the grill.

I have right now, Grill, filler panel, blinker and corner.

heres some pics

its evil
