No problem. I would have said that first but the other was funnier.

Or screw a screw into the gap. Looks crappy but it works fine.

Under and oversized ends are available. Also Autozone carries shims that slip over the terminal under the clamp but that leaves a new surface for corrosion to occur. I'd go with filling the ends or undersized clamps.

The ones sold in pairs that are painted red and black are sized to their respective terminals.

I just do not understand why the ground would be smaller I guess. I mean we all know you need good grounds to make things work correctly, but why make the negative terminal smaller then the positive. Just does not make sense to me. I would think that the negative terminal would be as large if not larger then the positive.

It's so when you accidentally put them on wrong they don't fit and hopefully you notice before you do the second one and fry the electrical system.

Even as colorblind as I am I can tell the difference between a red cable and a black one. I understand their reasoning it is just stupid in my book. If you can not tell positive from negative you do not need a vehicle. I am just saying lol.

While I agree 100%, this would mean about 90% of drivers wouldn't be on the road. That would probably be a good thing, but gas would have to be like $30/gal. to make-up for it...
