miracle?

had truck shut off while driving and the batter would drain down. took neg battery clamp off and put test lite between post and clamp and pulled fuse links off starter relay till lite went out. it was the eec power relay/fuel pump relay/tow lite link that was bad. redid the links and went to start truck and nothing. went to do the test lite again and with all the fuse links still hooked up the lite flashed faintly for a sec and went out. does that mean there is a grounding problem? thanks.

Most likely a problem with something you touched. Check and clean the battery terminal you unhooked and make sure the fusible links you unhooked are making good contact.
