Default Is this a good truck?

Never owned an F-150 before and I am eyeing this truck:
http://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/cto/3948175425.html

Little on the pricey side, but, its very clean, the engine looks mint, and there isn't any rust or anything on it.. Looks very garage kept and cared for.. Has new tires and feels very tight and solid..

Thoughts? Has only been driven 50K in the last year.. Plan to get an inspection done before i buy it

50k in 1 year? that's alot of miles quick lol. but it looks like a good truck and the price is pretty fair In my opinion.

For those who haven't noticed, the prices on our trucks have raised. (depends where you live) Around here $1000-$2500 trucks 2 years ago are now $3000-$5000

With that said. I would buy it. It looks every clean. 50k miles a year is alot but wouldn't worry about it too much since he could be full of it.

That's correct! But it's not just 87-96 ford trucks, its ALL ford trucks!
I have been buying and selling ford trucks for years and have a dealers licence so I watch trucks sell at dealer only auctions and ford trucks are selling better then I have ever seen!

Which kinda sucks when you are looking for a 2000-2003 F250-F350 Crewcab with a 7.3 diesel.

9th gen f150s have gone up a solid 2k since i lost mine around 2 years ago. i don't pay much attention to other gen trucks aside from late 90s dodges, which have also gone up it seems. i think the drop in gas prices has a part in it.

That's a sharp looking truck. I say buy it. You can usually tell when a truck is well maintained and truly cared for by it's owner, and this looks to be one of them.

See if you can haggle him down just a bit.
