how do you break the glass out of a glasspack? ive heard that this can be done and i am considering doing it when i get one

I have herd that you can fill it with water, let it freeze, then hook it up and the packing should blow right out.

It's fiberglass, not real glass and it is behind a mesh tube that runs down the center of the muffler. Therefore, you would essentially have to cut it in half, remove the fiberglass then weld it back together. Ty, you did make me laugh for a while picturing someone attempting your method as you know many out there would.

So that is a serious thing? I honestly thought you were kidding, sorry. I was picturing something of a potato in the tailpipe scenario but hey, if it works I guess they could try that method.

You dont tape off the end or anythign like that, you just get the packing wet, then freeze it.

put it on...drive it around. rod on it for bout o 30 mins and let it get nice and warm. Then throw some ice cold water on it
