My reasoning for value goes as follows. Suppose you buy it, then the next day a texter hits you and totals it. If the insurance company pays you considerably less for it, you take a big financial hit, then it is overpriced.

You will not take a financial hit if you get classic insurance.

It's not like it is a Little Red Express truck. It is just a common at the time F150.You not going get more than it's worth.

Isn't that a risk for any vehicle? Almost everything depreciates right as you drive off in it, especially newer vehicles. If you're talking about a situation where you have a note on it, gap insurance would ease those concerns.

I'd think the upside on resale value on a truck that nice as it continues to age more than outweighs the risk.

nope. You can assign an agreed value on that truck and they pay out if it gets totaled.

If the engine and frame are as clean as the body, I'd give at least $10k. I wish it were a standard cab but I may overlook that. Someone is going to be a happy camper.

That's a damn nice truck. Those side steps look really cool. A little different than my factory Lund side steps. Wonder if that was just a different design option? I haven't seen those before.
