Default gem for sale, they're still out there!

I was traveling for work today, and breezed by this clean looking truck sitting at a dealer in Ardmore, TN. Got curious and looked up the dealer, and found the truck. Look at the mileage and condition! If I hadn't just put a good bit of $ into mine, I'd be very tempted....

Figured I'd share in case anyone was on the hunt!

Nice but I think that is too much for it.

Great looking truck in amazing condition. I would probably only pay about $8000.00 for it.

That is a princely sum, but all facts considered, I'd pay it, if I were interested in another truck. I'd balance it against what a new (mostly plastic) truck costs now, as opposed to what it cost to begin with. That is as close to showroom as you are likely to find, and survivors are worth more than restorations.

Very nice truck but I agree with others that the price is high. I have seen 2 in similar condition somewhat locally in the past 6 months that were closer to the 8K price. Then again, private seller vs. dealer.

Yeah listed price is a little high, but I would think around 10k is reasonable at a dealer. It is pretty much double than the price I paid for my '90 that had 50k at the time on the odo, but I've assumed well kept versions of these trucks would only appreciate somewhat at this point.

Would be a little concerned about the two tanks and seals that may have sat from non-use.

That's all that would concern me, and the tire date but the tires look new in the pics at least. Concern over the seals and hoses would be a good bargaining point though.
