Default Gauges?

Guys,

I'm rebuilding a very nice 89 F150 very little rust low miles. I'm doing interior now, My question is where to put 3 gauges? Where is a good location for the CB Radio. I would like to see pictures of what you have done with your trucks. By the way it is a reg cab. I will post pictures soon
on the build of this truck. thanks in advance.

Bruce

Is it auto or man? large or small chassis cb? mechanical or electric gauges? I have 2 - 2 1\8 mech gauges water temp\oil pressure just to the right of the steering column on the bottom of the dash, I use cups not the bracket, looks neater and my cb is under my ash tray on the trans hump, i dont smoke so I dont care if my ash tray does not work.

I prefer teh pillar pods for gauges...that way you can check them via your peripheral vision and you dont take your eyes off the road...

I like using mechanical gauges so pillar mount wont work for me. I usually look when I am at a stop or parked just to see whats going on.

I dont use/like/wont buy electric gauges...

the pillars are made for both...mine has Water Temp, Oil pressure and Volts and they are all mechanical...

I put my CB on the roof in between the visors. I like it there. its a full size radio.

I have also seen them down on the floor under the ash tray if its an auto.

Anybody else want this one! I just can't! But I will say, Imagine if "gfordboy87" wrote Installation Instructions for a living! Go ahead, try to imagine! Ok, I'll do it....... Does your arm get wet when you change channels while it's raining?
